Coming up next week: finals and end of semester

With May 15th fast approaching, just thought I'd send out a reminder to everyone who may have library materials to bring them back before they are done with their finals.  There are no overdue fees charged, but a replacement fee of $45.00 per item and a hold on college record for lost or non-returned items.
Also, we have been busy all week, and next week will be even more so.  It would be appreciated if the small group conversations would be taken out of the LRTC and in the hall or student lounge.  If everyone would be mindful of unnecessary trips through the LRTC walkway as well, it would be much appreciated by those taking online tests or finishing research papers, or just studying for tests.  Thanks!

Extended hours Saturday!

The LRTC will be open extended hours this Saturday, May 10, 2014.  We will be open 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and the librarian will be on duty most of that time, so if you have questions for her about citations, bibliography, plagiarism, etc. this would be a great time to come in and work!

If you have been putting off finishing an assignment or two, this would be a great day to come in and get it done.

New materials for Spring 2014 "updated"

New Books and Materials
Although we are nearing the end of spring semester, I wanted to post the link to our new materials.  This list is added to continuously as we catalog and prepare new materials for our collections.  Check it out!  Maybe there will be something you'd like to read over semester break and return when Summer Session begins.  I hope you've enjoyed the new books we've showcased this semester in the display outside of the library next to the nursing offices, and also the new book displays we've had up in the LRTC as well.  Happy Reading!
